MICRO
BUTT WELDERS FOR FINE WIRED MODEL - JK MB.
|
|
|
| J.
K. Weld introduced for the benefit of the entire
wire processing industries a series of Micro Butt Welding Machines
specially designed for butt welding of ferrous and non ferrous
wires in the range of 3.0 to 2.50 mm dia, to withstand subsequent
drawing. This machines are designed as table models and constructed
with particular regard for easy operation. The automatic welding
process guarantees high tensile and uniform weld, depending
upon the material to be welded and the size of wire, seven different
models are available; four models for the welding of iron, steel
and nickel wires and two models for the welding of Copper, Brass,
Bronze and Aluminum wires. Shearing device and illuminated magnifier
are available as standard option extras.
WELDING
PROCESS these micro butt welders are automatic
upset butt welding machines. The ends of wires to be joined
are "prepared" on the special shearing attachment
provided. The welding current and the initial upset gap are
set accordingly to the size of wire, the upsetting pressure
being preset at works. The wire ends are then rigidly clamped
by special quick acting clamps and viewed through an illuminated
magnifying glass provided, to ensure correct alignment of
the wire ends. By depressing a push button, the welding cycle
is initiated and completed automatically by built in control.
The weld is completed; the job is no de-clamped and annealed
if necessary in the annealing.
